Fortnite loader will not open or freezes on launch
Fix admin prompts, antivirus blocks, and corrupted downloads when the operator portal loader fails.
If the loader closes instantly, run it as administrator once, add the install folder to Windows Defender exclusions, and redownload from the portal—not email attachments or Discord DMs.
Quick reset sequence
Close Fortnite and Epic, end leftover loader processes in Task Manager, reboot, verify #status is green, then launch again with the conservative preset imported.
